ফাইলটিতে insults.hসংকলিত কার্নেলটিতে উপরোক্ত অপমানগুলির মধ্যে যেটি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা উচিত তার উপর সংকলক নির্দেশাবলী রয়েছে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, আপনি নিজের অপমানের ফাইল তৈরি করতে পারেন, অপমানের নামটিতে নাম যুক্ত করতে পারেন এবং "কী, আপনি আর্কলিনাক্স ব্যবহারকারী?" বা "এটি উইন্ডোজ নয় যেখানে ত্রুটিগুলি সাধারণ!", ইত্যাদি etc.
লক্ষ্য করুন #ifdef PC_INSULTSঅপমান ফাইলগুলির মধ্যে কয়েকটির হবে। এর অর্থ এই নয় যে "আপনার যদি ব্যক্তিগত কম্পিউটার থাকে" এর অর্থ "যদি আপনি রাজনৈতিকভাবে সঠিক হতে চান"।
